How To Conduct Thorough And Effective Investigations: A Practitioner's Approach For Educational Administrators, Officials, and School Personnel

It is an understatement to say that school administrators are overwhelmed by the societal shift, resulting in surges of student-on-student abuse, inappropriate teacher-student relationships, school violence, and employee misconduct. Moreover, the increase in discrimination complaints filed with the Office of Civil Rights has made "right to sue" letters commonplace. Adding to the challenges are the new Iowa mandates for gender identity and violence reporting, creating additional obstacles for educational leaders who wear various hats, including instructional  leader, coach, manager, and counselor.

Premier ED Leader Resources is dedicated to enhancing leaders' capabilities in conducting internal investigations for bullying/harassment, employee misconduct, Title IX, and similar incidents. Our interactive seminar workshop is meticulously crafted to provide attendees with unprecedented learning opportunities, delivering essential information and knowledge to safeguard stakeholders and organizations during internal investigations.

Leaders participating in our hands-on training will gain the following skills and knowledge:

  1. Execute essential preparatory actions before an investigation materializes.
  2. Develop a systematic process and plan for an investigation following a complaint or allegation.
  3. Utilize effective interview and documentation strategies.
  4. Analyze findings proficiently to compose a comprehensive investigative conclusion report.

By attending our interactive sessions, leaders will be equipped with the expertise needed to navigate internal investigations successfully.
